β-Hydroxy-β-methylbutyric acid,calcium salt abbreviated as HMB Ca, CAS: 135236-72-5, β - hydroxy - β - methylbutyric acid (HMB), widely exists in citrus fruits, some vegetables such as broccoli, legumes such as alfalfa and some fish and seafood. Due to the active nature of HMB, Baolong chemical industry used synthetic method to convert HMB into calcium salt - β - hydroxy - β - methylbutyrate (HMB CA); calcium salt is widely used, such as food additives, dietary additives, etc.
HMB CA can be used to promote muscle growth, enhance immunity, reduce the levels of cholesterol and low density lipoprotein (LDL) in order to reduce the occurrence of coronary heart disease and cardiovascular disease. It can also enhance the ability of nitrogen fixation and maintain the protein level in the body.
